Fee-Only Fiduciary Wealth Management for Families Investing $2 Million or More

Fintegrity is an independent, fee-only fiduciary registered investment adviser (CRD #292421) in Tenafly, New Jersey, serving families nationwide who invest $2 million or more. You work directly with founder Jeffrey Barnett — never a junior associate — and our firm’s performance policies and procedures are independently GIPS-verified. If you’re evaluating advisers for a substantial portfolio, this page lays out the four criteria that separate a genuine fiduciary from a salesperson, and how Fintegrity meets each one.

The four criteria every high-net-worth family should demand

The “best” adviser for a multimillion-dollar portfolio isn’t a matter of opinion — it comes down to four objective criteria. Bergen County alone has over 5,000 SEC- and state-registered financial advisers, but only a small subset meets all four at once.

Fee-only compensation.

The adviser accepts no commissions, kickbacks, or product-sales compensation — a structure followed by roughly 15–20% of U.S. advisers. "Fee-based" allows for sales incentives and is not the same as "fee-only." Fintegrity is fee-only: our only compensation comes from you, so our advice isn't shaped by what a product pays us.

Secure Custody 2

Continuous fiduciary duty.

Many firms operate as "hybrids" — a fiduciary on one side, commission-based product sales on the other under a lower suitability standard. Fintegrity is a fiduciary 100% of the time, with no product-sales arm.

Experience

Independent, third-party performance verification.

Most advisers ask you to simply take their word for it. At Fintegrity, we hold ourselves to a higher standard. Our performance reporting has been independently verified for GIPS compliance by The Spaulding Group, for the period January 22, 2019 through December 31, 2025, giving clients the assurance that our track record is built on rigorous, institutional-grade reporting integrity. Fewer than 4% of investment advisers can say the same.

Education

Direct access to a highly qualified principal.

No rotating team, no handoffs to junior staff. Every Fintegrity relationship is managed personally by Jeffrey Barnett — a Harvard MBA and former TIAA Managing Director.

An independently verified track record

Fintegrity’s compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) has been independently verified by The Spaulding Group for the period January 22, 2019 through December 31, 2025. Verification tests whether a firm’s policies and procedures for composite construction and performance calculation comply with GIPS on a firm-wide basis. Many institutional investors, including pension funds, endowments, and investment consultants, request or require GIPS compliance and verification when evaluating investment managers. Fintegrity maintains GIPS-compliant composite reports for seven strategies, ranging from 100% equity to a balanced 50/50 allocation, along with a Dynamic Asset Allocation composite. Performance figures presented in the published composite reports are net of advisory fees and stated in USD. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Who Fintegrity is for

Our clients are high-net-worth households with at least $2 million in investable assets, and they’ve gotten there by very different routes. Some are corporate executives, business owners, and finance and insurance leaders. Others are physicians, attorneys, and independent professionals who built real wealth through their own practices. And many don’t fit any single label, from career educators and tradespeople to retired couples who spent decades building a business and the savings to match. What they share matters more than how they earned it. They want independence, transparency, disciplined portfolio management, and direct access to the person who actually manages their money. At Fintegrity, that person is me, not a call center and not a rotating team.

Who leads the firm

Jeffrey Barnett founded Fintegrity in 2017, bringing with him a decade of experience at TIAA, where he led product management for a $40 billion multi-asset portfolio. His earlier career includes roles at J.P. Morgan and M&T Bank, and he holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. Jeffrey has been interviewed by Fortune on valuation and governance discipline in initial public offerings (IPOs). At Fintegrity, Jeffrey personally manages every client relationship. The advisor who takes the time to understand your situation today is the same person you’ll be speaking with years down the road.
