What is Form ADV?

Registered Investment Advisers file a form called Form ADV to register with both the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and state securities authorities. The Part 2 brochure, consisting of Part 2A and Part 2B, is designed for clients. It contains information such as the types of advisory services offered, fee schedule, disciplinary information, conflicts of interest, and the educational and business background of key personnel.
